Since 1996, Father’s House began reaching the homeless children of Ukraine through street ministry. Today, their ministry has developed into several programs with centers ranging from aiding disabled children, single mothers, program graduates, and the elderly.
From 1996 to 2001, their street ministries charity feeding and plant sanitary treatment, approximately 2300 children received assistance and were taken from the street
During the period from 1999 to 2012, a total of 281 children experienced a full range of rehabilitation and socialization programs in the center of Father’s House
58 children returned to their biological families
72 children have been adopted
31 children were taken under guardianship
120 children went off to an independent life
35 single elderly received assistance in the House of Mercy “Power of Love” beginning its work in 2011
14 mothers and 18 children were assisted and taken care of in the Center of Mother and Child in 2013
31 children were are being brought up in three children’s homes of family type since 2008
Since 1998, the Department of Humanitarian Aid “People of Love” received and distributed about 518 tons of cargo in Kiev, Poltava, Odessa, Kirovohrad, Cherkasy, and Kharkiv regions
70 young people ages ranging from 19 to 30 years old participated in the support program for graduates beginning in 2003
Beginning from 2003, more than 5,000 orphans along with children deprived of parental care had an opportunity to rest and renew their strengths at recreational areas of Father’s House in the villages of Kerch and Shtormove (Crimea)
76 children participated in the program of spiritual education “Boomerang Program” starting in 2012
488 consultations were provided for couples on family-based care for orphans at Center of Development and promotion of domestic adoption,”New Family” that began its work in 2008
